What this actually does

Give it a saved .html file or paste the markup. It cannot fetch a live address — a browser is forbidden from reading another site’s page, and any tool that claims otherwise is sending your URL to a server. The page’s own CSS is now honoured, so layout, colours, type and tables come out looking as they look. JavaScript is never run, and a stylesheet held on another site is dropped rather than fetched.
